International Day of Charity

First week September brought the International Day of Charity in which students learnt what it meant to give charity and why we give it. They then did fundraising for the Edhi Foundation and Bostaan'ilm School. A group of students then went to an Edhi center and to Bostaan'ilm School to give their donations in person. It was emphasised to the students they they must see where their donations are going before giving them. The students had a lot of questions to ask about both places. The Edhi center had posters of missing children and/or parents and a cot for abandoned babies that they were very curious about, and they were very intrigued about child workers who were studying at Bostaan'ilm School. This post has a video!
